Since it is a martingale EA, it draws a very beautiful profit curve.

FXQUAKE EA trading strategy

FXQUAKE is a very aggressive grid & martingale EA.

Grid trading and additional positions

If the price moves in the opposite direction to the initial position, open an additional position in the same direction as the initial position.

Repeat adding positions every time the price moves in the opposite direction, and wait until the total profit/loss of all positions becomes positive.

Below is the MT4 trading history chart when FXQUAKE opened 4 positions, finally took a profit and closed all positions.

■AUDUSD 30 minutes Chart White=Buy entry Red=Sell entry

Large increase in lot size _25x

Execute grid trades without increasing lot size for the first 4 positions.

However, from the 5th position onwards, the lot size will be increased and traded using the martingale method.

The 5th additional position and the 6th position will be 5 times the lot size of the first position.
The 7th and 8th positions will have a lot size of 25 times the first position.

■FXQUAKE additional position lot size

No. Lot Size
Position ① 0.01
Position ② 0.01
Position ③ 0.01
Position ④ 0.01
Position ⑤ 0.05
Position ⑥ 0.05
Position ① 0.05
Position ⑦ 0.25
Position ⑧ 0.25

If the lot size suddenly increases by 5 times, it looks very risky.

However, a normal martingale EA generally doubles the lot size from the previous position.
If you double the lot size from the first additional entry, the lot size will be 256 times larger at the 8th position.

No. Lot Size
Position ① 0.01
Position ② 0.02
Position ③ 0.04
Position ④ 0.08
Position ⑤ 0.16
Position ⑥ 0.32
Position ① 0.64
Position ⑦ 1.28
Position ⑧ 2.56

On the other hand, the 8th position of FXQUAKE is 25x.

The increase rate of lot size in FXQUAKE is slower than that of general martingale EA.

Interval of additional positions

The pips width between the first entry price and the second entry price is 25 pips.

This EA will increase the pips width of additional entries by 3 pips compared to the previous one.

Below is a table showing the pips interval between the previous position and additional positions.

No Open Date Close Date Symbol Action Units/Lots Open Price Additional position pips interval

7 12/19/2023 17:26 12/29/2023 12:19 AUDUSD Sell 0.35 0.67721 40pips
8 12/22/2023 16:00 12/29/2023 12:19 AUDUSD Sell 1.75 0.68151 43pips
9 12/28/2023 02:54 12/29/2023 12:19 AUDUSD Sell 1.75 0.68611 46pips

In FXQUAKE, the pips range of additional entries is very small compared to general grid trading EA.
With Grid Trade EA, the smaller the pips width of additional entries, the faster the profit will accumulate.

On the other hand, if the pips range of additional entries is small, the risk will be high because many positions will be held.

When a large trending market occurs, many positions are left stranded, leading to large equity drawdowns and ultimately wiping out the balance in your trading account.

Below is an MT4 trading history chart where FXQUAKE EA held a short position, then an uptrend occurred and a total of 9 positions were opened.

■AUDUSD 30 minutes Chart White=Buy entry Red=Sell entry

After opening the 9th position, the price fell and it took a profit.
However, if the uptrend continued, it would have resulted in significant losses to the account.

First Entry

FXQUAKE EA first enters in the opposite direction to the short-term trend.
From the MT4 trading history chart below, we can see that the direction of FXQUAKE’s initial position is contrarian in the short term.

■AUDUSD 15 minutes Chart White=Buy entry Red=Sell entry

Trade frequency

Below is FXQUAKE’s long-term MT4 trading history chart.

■AUDUSD 30 minutes Chart White=Buy entry Red=Sell entry

As you can see from the trading history chart above, this EA always holds positions.

Open a position on a short-term contrarian as soon as the previous set of positions is closed.
It is a very aggressive EA as it always holds positions and the pips interval between additional entries is narrow.

Vendor of FXQUAKE EA

FXQUAKE EA is sold by the same vendor as his FXSTABILIZER, Forex Truck, etc.
The basic strategy of the EA they sell is a combination of grid trading and martingale.

The performance of FXQUAKE EA is not significantly different from EA sold by the same vendor, and it is neither superior nor inferior.
Results will vary depending on market conditions and the currency pair applied.

Conclusion of FXQUAKE EA

Although the rate of increase in lot size is slower than a typical Martingale EA, it is very aggressive as it always holds a position and the pips range for additional entries is very small.

This EA is stable in a range market and quickly accumulates profits, but if a large trend market occurs for a long period of time, the account may go bankrupt with a large number of positions.
The very high profitability of aggressive trading is attractive, but please understand the risks before using it.
